We use the information we collect to match you with relevant job opportunities, improve our platform, communicate with you about your applications, and send you service-related notifications. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Information Sharing
Your profile information is shared with startups when you apply for a role or when we believe you are a strong match for an open position. We will always inform you before sharing your information with a hiring company. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., database hosting, email delivery), subject to confidentiality agreements.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Neon PostgreSQL, Vercel). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect functionality.
6. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your profile settings. You may also request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it entirely by contacting us at mukul@vertexhire.co. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Third-Party Services
We integrate with Google for OAuth login. If you sign in with Google, their privacy policy also applies to the information you share with them. We do not control third-party services and encourage you to review their policies.
8. Children's Privacy
Vertex Hire is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
